A special Personality Development Training Program was conducted for our students by CADPOINT on
16-07-2025 at our college campus. The session aimed to enhance the soft skills, confidence,
communication abilities, and overall personality of the students, preparing them for academic and
professional success.
Experienced trainers from CADPOINT engaged the students through interactive sessions, group
discussions, mock interviews, and motivational talks. The training focused on key areas such
as:
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and goal setting
• Leadership and teamwork
• Positive attitude and self-confidence
• Presentation and interview techniques
The students actively participated and gained valuable insights into building a strong personal and
professional image. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing
increased confidence and readiness for future challenges.
This initiative was a part of our continuous efforts to ensure the holistic development of our
students beyond academics.

The birthday of the great leader K. Kamaraj, fondly known as the Kingmaker and Kalvi Thanthai (Father
of Education), was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm on our college campus on
15-07-2025.
The program commenced with a brief address on his contributions to Indian politics, social reforms,
and, most significantly, to education. Our principal delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting
Kamarajar’s role in introducing free education and the mid-day meal scheme in Tamil Nadu, which
transformed the educational landscape of the state. He also suggested the students and staff to uphold
the values of simplicity, integrity, and service to society — principles that Kamarajar stood for
throughout his life.
Students actively participated by delivering speeches and presenting poems that reflected the values
and legacy of Kamarajar and won prizes.
This celebration served as an inspiration to all, reminding us of the importance of education and the
power of selfless leadership.

A special programme on “Opportunities for Abroad Studies” was conducted on 11-07-2025 at ANR College
of Arts and Science, aimed at creating awareness among undergraduate students about higher education
opportunities in foreign countries.
The objective of the programme was to educate students about the various undergraduate and
postgraduate courses available abroad, admission requirements, application procedures, scholarship
options, and visa processes.
The session was led by experts in international education consultancy IMIMS, Tambaram, who provided
valuable insights into top study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, and
others. Students were guided on how to prepare for language proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL,
and standardized exams like SAT and ACT.
An interactive Q&A session followed, where students actively participated and clarified their doubts
regarding course selection, funding, and accommodation. Informational brochures and materials were
distributed for future reference.
The programme was well-received by the students and proved to be highly informative and motivating. It
encouraged many students to explore global educational opportunities and plan their academic future
with a broader perspective.

We were delighted to welcome students and their parents to the Opening Ceremony of the first year
students of ANR College of Arts and Science for the academic year 2025–2026 which was held on 7th
July, 2025. This special occasion marked the beginning of a new journey for our incoming students and
a renewed commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community at our institution.
The event served as a platform to inspire, inform, and unite our college community. It included
addresses by our respected Principal, Vice Principal, Heads of all the Departments and faculty members
and an introduction to student life at our College.
As we open our doors to another exciting year, we look forward to nurturing talent, encouraging
curiosity, and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
